It's 9 PM and you tell yourself, you're only going out for one drink. One drink becomes ten and somehow, it's 3:30, you're at La Moon, drunkenly stuffing that hot dog in your face and thinking to yourself, "tomorrow is going to be a b*tch."
But, my friends, it doesn't have to be. Our After Party is a natural, organic hangover cure because of the delicious blend of spices and herbs we've mixed up to soothe your abused liver.
What is in this mysterious and life-restoring blend? Several of the herbs and spices we used have been known for years to help with hangovers. The first is chicory. You may have been to New Orleans and had that delicious blend of coffee and chicory at Cafe du Monde. Those Bayou residents figured out early on that chicory was a natural hangover helper (much needed in NOLA!). Chicory contains iniulin, which helps with a variety of gastrointestinal situations. We've also incorporated milk thistle in the blend. Milk thistle stimulates the regrowth of liver and kidney cells - it basically helps heal the organs that you destroy every time you walk into Mac's Club Deuce. It also helps the liver process the alcohol and move it out of your system, which is why it's so great to drink after a long night out.
Both dandelion and burdock root have been used since ancient times as healing herbs. Since we don't have to worry about woolly mammoths, we're using it to help our bodies get back to their sober states. Both herbs help the digestive system and the liver process the alcohol you imbibed and serves as natural probiotics.
